Being the benchmark in long-term financing for biodiversity conservation in Cameroon is our primary concern.

The Foundation for Environment and Development in Cameroon (FEDEC) is an organization that is constantly evolving. Today, after 19 years of active presence on the ground working on the Environmental Management Plan for the Chad-Cameroon Pipeline, our ambition is to put our expertise in managing and monitoring compensation funds to work on other projects that have negative impacts on the biophysical and social environment.

As partners in key projects, funders, and donors, we invite you to make effective use of this tool established by the Government of Cameroon, the World Bank, and the Cameroon Oil Transportation Company (COTCO) to finance biodiversity preservation and sustainable development.

We possess essential assets that constitute the cornerstone of our existence. Taking all this into account, the Government of Cameroon has kindly granted us the status of a public utility organization, and we have signed partnership agreements with the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife. Furthermore, we receive financial and material support from major institutions such as COTCO and the Pipeline Steering and Monitoring Committee (CPSP), to name a few. Added to this are our integrity (rigorous adherence to ethical rules), our professionalism, our sense of responsibility, our team spirit, our willingness to challenge ourselves, our skills, the quality of our services, and our expertise.

We offer a unique perspective, with strong financial management skills and extensive knowledge of environmental activities and the development of vulnerable communities and populations. We constantly strive to optimize the quality of our services to our partners and the communities we work with.
