The vision of FEDEC is to “enable environmental compensation programs to fully achieve their objectives through an optimal use of funds”.

DEVELOPMENT

Provide long-term financial support for biodiversity conservation and sustainable development activities for local communities in Cameroon.

ENVIRONMENT

FEDEC has an environmental component to protect biodiversity and fight against poaching in protected areas.

SOCIAL

FEDEC has a social component that promotes the sustainable development of vulnerable populations.

The Director’s Word

The Foundation for Environment and Development in Cameroon (FEDEC) is an organization that is constantly evolving. Today, after 19 years of effective presence in the field working on the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for the Chad-Cameroon Pipeline, our aim is to offer our experience in managing and monitoring compensation funds and help other projects underway in Cameroon that have a negative impact on the biophysical and social environment.
