Ngoyang Home Parents’ Meeting
Bakola/Bagyeli parents met on September 25, 2020, at the Ngoyang home in preparation for the 2020/2021 school year. Ninety-four people, including forty-two men and fifty-two women, gathered to examine strategies to promote their children’s education. Issues related to improving school attendance, the quality of supervision of residents at the Ngoyang home, and improving academic performance were also discussed. At the end of this meeting, the parents committed to enrolling their children in school and ensuring their academic monitoring. The first estimate of the number of residents at the Ngoyang home during the 2020/2021 school year shows one hundred and eleven residents, including eighty from the Lolodorf area and around thirty from the Bipindi area.
