Every year on March 8, the world celebrates International Women’s Day to take stock of progress in women’s rights and progress towards gender equality.
The theme chosen for this year’s event is “Women’s Leadership: For an Equal Future in the World of COVID-19” . Thus, on March 8, 2021, all of the Foundation’s staff participated in a round table discussion and reflection on this theme. It emerged from the presentations that barrier measures have paralyzed the livelihoods of many African women, particularly Cameroonians.
This activity is in line with the Foundation’s “gender policy”, developed in 2020 with the help of a Cuso International volunteer.
