Launch of the process of evaluating the activities of the Mbam Djerem National Park

FEDEC received a grant from BIOPAMA for the implementation of the project “Support for the integration of the IMET evaluation tool (Integrated Management Effectiveness Tool) in the management of the Mbam and Djerem National Park (PNMD)”. This project, which will run from September 1, 2021 to January 31, 2022, has the main objective of providing support for the evaluation of the activities of the PNMD during the period from 2016 to 2020. This evaluation will thus make it possible to identify priorities for results-oriented actions and to analyze the environmental and social risks present in the area. At the end of the project, a PNMD management evaluation report and a precise and realistic priority action plan will be published and will serve as a guide for better management of the park. It should be recalled that the purpose of the BIOPAMA Small Technical Grants for Evaluations (PSTE) in question here is to identify and update action priorities for improved management and governance of protected and conserved areas.
