A Springboard for Digital Innovation
On May 24, 2024, a significant ceremony was held at the former bishopric of the Talla district in Kribi, bringing together staff from FEDEC and its partner ENEO, and the Orange Foundation, as well as local authorities, Bantu indigenous communities and Bagyeli, and the religious of the diocese of Kribi.
This ceremony was followed by a visit to the new Fablab “Radiolab”. This fablab, a solidarity project funded by the Orange Foundation, offers young people a space to develop digital manufacturing skills with tools such as 3D printers and laser cutters.
Radiolab represents a unique opportunity for young people in Kribi to train in digital careers, opening up employment opportunities and economic autonomy. This initiative aims to promote innovation and entrepreneurship, thus contributing to the economic and social development of the region.
